What has your career path been like in Knauf Insulation?

I have been working at KI for 13 years. I have worked as FLT driver for 8 years and I wanted to work as Operator in HOT END department. I was interested in the technology, I wanted to work with melted glass. My wish came true in 2019, when I succeeded in the internal selection process and I started working as an Operator of fiberizing (cover).I like my job as it's not a stereotypical job. I find myself in situations, where I have to react always thoughtfully. No day is ever the same as the day before. That´s amazing.

What do you value most at work?

The company takes excellent care of us. They treat me as a valid player and it makes me happy. I know what is expected from me. I can see the results of my effort in the finished product or on the customer's construction site. I appreciate the company's concern for our safety. I even found myself thinking about safety at home as well.

What would you say to candidates who are now deciding whether to accept a Knauf Insulation job offer or send a resume for a position?

Don't be afraid of the challenge before you. I guarantee you that you will go to a stable collective of great people, where I am very satisfied. If you will be engaged and do great job, do not wait and follow your dream, you will find career growth opportunities here. The company is also inclined to innovation and improvement. I have submitted and implemented several improvement proposals. It works, it makes work easier and it makes me happy.
